I thank all my fellow Streamers for praying for me, especially to Lookin', POH, and Ron, because I am not at the least surprised when my anger temptor has gone down a notch in the irritation offensives, and my reaction vexations have come down to almost nil, with my faith in your assurances and prayers foremost in my mind, so that Temptor's attacks on me were merely shrugged off by the armor you have given me.
I thank God for listening to You and to me on this favor because it is crucial for me to minimize stress for my asthma and diabetes wracked frame, especially my wife and kids are relying on me, my kids looking up to me for strength and consistency. I tell you guys, had the source of my temperamentalism had not abated, I might just have collapsed emotionally and psychologically, and probably end up an alcoholic and booted out of my work at the office.
But lo and behold, I'm doing better at work and even though Temptor hid my favorite soap, lent my suitcase to whoever without my permission, had the furniture replaced all over the house so that it took me hours to find my things, and been saying unsavory remarks about my wife, I just didn't feel any anger anymore, isn't that something?
However, as soon as I had this licked, another of the temptor's tactics materialized at work. Being a newbie, I had to make friends as soon as possible to be comfortable at work. Sometimes one has no choice but to make friends with those in your department, but mercy me, I ended up with a bunch of partygoers! At first I gave in to their invitations, just to get their good graces, but soon, we had been partying like twice a week, and I'm getting tired of it. I pray the next time they invite me, my saying no will not make me a pariah in the workplace. They even have the guts to try make me unfaithful towards my wife. I just wanna groan! It never stops, does it?
I am also praying hard that my daughter will be cured of her heart disease. Please pray for her, friends. The doctor has diagnosed her with Patent Ductus Arteriosus, and she told me my daughter might be operated on, but they're still observing her as she's taking medication. Pray for her.
Dear God, would that you make me suffer than her. I deserve the pain and the illnesses more than my young one. Please cure her, Lord, just a small favor from here, your humble but battle weary knight. I love you, Lord. I have faith in you. Thy Will BE Done.
